WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
DO YOU TRAVEL?
I'm really laid back and pride myself on being able to create a relaxed environment for you to truly be yourselves. I want to capture not only what your day or life looks like, but felt like.
My images reflect a timeless, romantic and candid style by using as much natural light as possible. So I will only use a flash when the sun goes down as I want to capture the mood & precise feeling of moments, without artificially altering it.
If you want to see more of my work please visit my portfolio
Absolutely! I love to travel, and nowhere is off limits!
For weddings, there are no travel fees for any wedding within a 2 hour drive of the Northern Beaches of Sydney. However, for longer drives, interstate and international bookings, I have fixed travel fees which I'll send out to you upon your initial enquiry.
For lifestyle shoots (e.g. family or maternity), my price includes travel to anywhere with 30minutes of the Northern Beaches.

DO I NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
WHAT IF I'M CAMERA SHY?
Don’t worry, you’re not the only one! A lot of people I have worked with tell me at some point that they hate photos. People always look their best when they’re natural and able to be themselves. If you're not comfortable in front of the camera, I might interact with you by giving you some fun or silly games to play to help calm your camera nerves. This will enable you to interact with your loved ones naturally.
Otherwise, I like to take a step back and observe, capturing the real smiles, the real laughter and of course the real affection, but with the right amount of guidance and direction.
I highly recommend adding a second photographer for any weddings with over 100 people, and here’s why:
1) They double the coverage during the same amount of time which means it’s less likely any spontaneous / candid moments will be missed throughout the day.
2) It allows simultaneous coverage in different locations. This can be handy in situations such as getting ready, where one photographer can be photographing the boys, and the other with the girls. Or, while I'm off getting family photos, they’re able to get photos of guests
3) Provides multiple perspectives on important moments. For example, being able to capture not only the bride walking down the aisle, but also the Grooms first reaction to seeing her is almost impossible with one photographer.
4) A second photographer means I have an extra set of cameras in case any kind of technical malfunctions occur
With all this in mind, they definitely add a lot of value and security to your special day

ARE YOUR IMAGES WATERMARKED?
Absolutely not! The images you receive online will not have any watermarks on them.

WHAT IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING?
CAN I GET A COPY OF THE RAW FILES?
Unfortunately, not. However, you will receive high resolution images, edited in a manner that’s reflective of my style. These images will allow you to print canvases, large prints, and a host of other items. The raw files are basically the foundation that provides me the latitude to edit and create a photo, so think of a raw image as cake batter. There’s a good chance cake batter isn’t something you want to enjoy, but once we've baked it, frosted it, and added some sprinkles, you’ll get precisely what you wanted: a beautiful cake.
Hopefully you’re hiring me to document your wedding because you’re attracted to my style of photography, so the images you get as part of your wedding day will reflect just that.
Unfortunately, your retainer and travel fees are non-refundable. The retainer guarantees that I exclusively hold your wedding date for you, and I will actively turn down all other enquiries for that date.
However, if you do find yourself in that situation, please get in contact to discuss your personal circumstance and I will see if there’s something I can do.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN'T ATTEND OUR WEDDING?
CAN YOU HELP US WITH OUR WEDDING DAY TIMELINE?
Absolutely! In fact, consulting with your photographer on a timeline can help to ensure you get the right amount of time for things like family and bridal party portraits. It also means we can ensure we get enough time for those gorgeous sunset shots!
In the meantime, I highly recommend checking out my wedding day timeline guide here which will give you a base for organising your day.
I have never not made it to a wedding. This would only happen if it were out of my control (an act of god, serious illness, death, etc). In this case I would do my best to help find a replacement associate photographer to take my place that I trust, or you can receive a full refund.

WHEN IS A GOOD TIME TO BOOK YOU IN?
DO I NEED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A SHOT LIST?
For weddings, as soon as your venue is booked, I would suggest locking us in very near afterwards! I only take bookings as far as 18 months in advance, but keep in mind that I can be booked out for popular wedding dates up to 12 months in advance.
The only shot list I may ask for is for the family portraits. Because I won’t know your guests, I may ask you to assign one organised (a.k.a. bossy) family member from each side to help corral members for photos. This will allow me to not miss anyone out, and keeps everything and everyone organised.

DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY?
HOW DO WE BOOK?
Send through an enquiry via the contact page. I only take on a limited amount of bookings per year and is on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, I just require a signed contract and a 30% booking fee.
Unfortunately I don’t. I like to stick to what I'm good at, but I do know a couple of amazing videographers whom I could forward you onto, so feel free to ask for those.

19.
ARE YOU FULLY VACCINATED?
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes, I am. All my associates and second shooters are also fully vaccinated.
I definitely do! Some venues require this, so I’m happy to send over a copy of all our Insurance information.
I hope I provided you answers to all your photography and wedding photography questions.
